DSV, in collaboration with BOS Logistics, leads the way in sustainability with the introduction of the first electric truck at Brucargo
DSV is proud to announce a milestone in sustainable transportation at Brucargo. As part of our ongoing commitment to enable decarbonisation across our value chain and in the transport and logistic sector, DSV has become the first freight forwarding company to start using electric trucks for transport operations around Brucargo, working together with BOS Logistics. This marks a significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to decarbonise our operations and lead the transport and logistics sector towards a more sustainable future.
Jonathan Van Kan, Operational Director Air Freight at DSV Belgium, points out the importance of this initiative, stating, "By utilizing electric trucks, we are not only reducing our carbon footprint but also showcasing our leadership in promoting sustainability within the logistics field." He further acknowledges that while electric trucks represent a first step, they are part of a broader effort that includes exploring alternative solutions such as sustainable fuels to address sustainability challenges in air freight.
DSV is proud to lead the way in sustainable transportation, and we remain committed to seeking innovative solutions that minimise our environmental impact while delivering efficient and reliable freight services.
