Edwin Eggebeen appointed as Managing Director

DSV Solutions NV announces the appointment of Edwin Eggebeen as Managing Director. This strategic move arises from the need for leadership to accelerate DSV's ongoing growth in Belgium.

In his new role, Edwin will oversee shaping the company's strategy and leading operations, including the construction of a state-of-the-art warehouse with an extent of 120,000 square meters in Ghent. The objective is to consolidate and strengthen DSV's position in the Belgian market.

Edwin Eggebeen's career at DSV

Edwin began his career at DSV on April 1, 2007. With a solid background in Logistics & Economics, he successfully fulfilled the role of Key Account Manager for several years. During his time at DSV, Edwin has held various roles and responsibilities at different levels within the organisation. He has held as many as 8 different roles and responsibilities, making him a valuable asset for the position of Managing Director. Each role brought a different dynamic, and Edwin encountered commercial, operational, human resources, and financial aspects. This versatility made each day different and challenging, giving him the freedom within DSV to creatively solve challenges.

New construction 

With a keen eye on the future, DSV's Solutions division is focusing on its new construction plans. The forthcoming realisation of a 120,000 square meter warehouse not only embodies DSV's growth ambitions but also symbolises its dedication to progressive developments within the logistics sector. The focus here is on sustainability. The new building will receive a BREEAM Excellent certificate. This underscores DSV's commitment to environmentally friendly logistics activities, solutions, and its responsibility as a leading service provider in Belgium, as well as its dedication to a more sustainable future.

This state-of-the-art warehouse, designed to meet the needs of a dynamic market, will serve a versatile role. While the focus lies on the healthcare sector and the pharmaceutical industry, the warehouse will provide flexibility to store various products, with spaces that can be adjusted to different temperatures and requirements.
