Every day, you are actively involved, both independently and as part of a team, in operationally optimizing and professionalizing, among other things, our TMS system (Cargowise) and other DSV applications. Additionally, you are involved in implementing new clients into our systems: you work in it.
How do you do this? You actively participate in onboarding new colleagues in the operational departments. You're also the person who provides training for these new DSV team members on the use of our internal systems and processes. As a business support specialist, you are also actively involved in reporting to our clients and maintain close contact with the Global IT department. You achieve this by:
- optimizing processes of internal systems (Cargowise);
- implementing and managing operational and/or commercial agreements and ensuring compliance;
- being an open point of contact for (new) operational colleagues regarding ongoing processes.
Your team stands out within DSV due to its informal atmosphere and working from multiple DSV locations. This makes it important that you are willing and able to work independently. You know how to find each other via teams and phone.

You bring
- minimum 2 to 5 years of work experience in sea freight, transport, and logistics;
- HBO level of education;
- good communication skills in Dutch and English;
- experience in effectively applying Excel and analytical skills;
- additionally, you are customer-oriented, take initiative, and can prioritize effectively.
