Your goal is to provide customers with the ultimate, fastest and most efficient transport solution! In this role, you will be responsible for the Northern European market.

You get it done

As a freight forwarder, you are the director of fast and efficient transport shipments to and from mainly Denmark, Sweden and the Baltic States. Your talent lies in establishing and maintaining a solid network, both inside and outside the organisation, thus actively contributing to our success. You work on it.

How you do this? Several trucks depart daily from Venlo to various destinations in Europe. Whether it is FTL (full truck load), LTL (less than truck load), or trucks full of groupage shipments. Your mission is to load these trucks optimally and efficiently, both for the outbound and inbound journey. You get this done by:

• ensuring correct and timely delivery of shipments and efficiently planning transports with the highest possible load factor;
• selling and chartering LTL consignments and/or complete loads, both for import and export;
• agreeing rates for purchased transport;
• proactively communicating and informing customers and partners. You follow up on your shipments and spot irregularities when loading, unloading or delivering shipments.

You bring

• although a degree in transport and logistics is a plus, we value your passion for the job much more;
• some experience in planning or coordinating transport, such as in the role of forwarder, transport planner or supply chain coordinator;
• excellent command of both Dutch and English;
• skills in MS Office and able to quickly master new systems.
