As a junior freight forwarder in Maastricht Airport, you are the key to smooth and effective handling of air shipments, from A to Z. You work closely with your colleagues from our air freight import team and colleagues elsewhere in the world to provide the best service to our customers. You’re on it.

How you do this? You maintain customer contacts, provide your customers with appropriate quotations, and ensure smooth handling of shipments. Additionally, you arrange customs documents and meticulously manage all necessary documentation and cost registration. You achieve this by: 

• checking for the correct departure and progress of your shipments;
• providing updates to your customers on the status of their shipments;
• monitoring shipments and ensuring that their handling proceeds as smoothly as possible.

You bring

• some experience in air freight or transport and logistics is advantageous, but even without experience, we will teach you the tricks of the trade!
• you have planning skills and are excellent at prioritizing. Additionally, you are eager to learn, accustomed to working with various systems, and naturally interested in the logistics and/or transport sector;
• proficiency in the Dutch and English language, both written and spoken.
