How do you do this? For you, 3PL logistics combined with automated warehouse processes hold few secrets. This is great because our 'Venlo 4' site is state-of-the-art, featuring almost 7 km of conveyor belts. Additionally, multiple clients operate at our site with products ranging from shoes to perfumes that fall under ADR regulations.

As a Site Manager, you are ultimately responsible for the daily operations (approximately 350 FTE) of our multi-client 3PL location in Venlo. You report directly to our Senior Director and are part of the regional management team. You ensure that quality always comes first and that all established standards, procedures, and rules are met. You hold P&L responsibility and continuously manage KPIs, targets, and workforce. You achieve this by: 

• running an efficient existing operation and achieving the agreed KPI objectives;
• actively contributing to the development of your team. You assess capabilities and qualities to ensure the right people are in the right place;
• being able to switch between functional needs and technical solutions to come up with (structural) solutions;
• prioritizing, driving improvement projects, and continuously challenging our service.

You bring

• a passion for the field, with enthusiasm that is infectious to others;
• experience in a leadership role within a 3PL organization;
• knowledge and experience with lean principles and managing significant improvement and innovation projects within an automated warehouse;
• analytical skills to identify bottlenecks and define solutions or process improvements;
• good communication skills in both English and Dutch.
