Move forward as Troubleshooter at DSV in Venlo

Are you someone who thinks in terms of solutions rather than problems? Do you go to great lengths to fully understand an issue or malfunction? Then we are looking for you!

You get it done

As a troubleshooter, you act as a problem solver within our warehouse. You search for and analyze problems, where your creativity in finding suitable solutions is highly valued. This ensures our processes run smoothly, and you contribute to this success! You’re on it.

How do you achieve this? You are responsible for detecting, investigating, and solving operational problems in the warehouse caused by human errors and/or system issues. You get to the root of the problem, solve it, and ensure similar problems are prevented in the future. You achieve this by:

  • analyzing reported operational problems and setting the right priorities, then informing your supervisor about them;
  • improving operational processes by devising, developing, and implementing improvement proposals;
  • providing ad-hoc support during disruptions and problems;
  • providing information and answering questions from employees and customers regarding disruptions.

Your team within DSV stands out for its good mix of international colleagues and a strong mutual bond. We are always there for each other and help each other learn different tasks. For us, job satisfaction and a good dose of humor are priorities, alongside our dedication as hard workers.

We are DSV, we grow

DSV is a global provider of transport and logistics services. With offices in more than 90 countries and a growing network of partners, there is no place in the world we cannot reach via transport by air, sea, rail, courier or road or where we can offer storage in warehouses.

Troubleshooting is the art of turning chaos into order, and problems into solutions,

says Regi Bloemberg, Warehouse Manager.

In the Netherlands, we operate from over 25 branches, with more than 3,000 colleagues. Together we rise to the challenge of a rapidly changing environment. We make quick decisions at every level and combine ambition and teamwork. This is how we move forward and make a difference together.

You bring

  • experience with Excel, Microsoft Office, and warehouse management systems;
  • some knowledge of Cargowrite is a plus;
  • good command of the English language, both spoken and written;
  • at least 2 years of work experience within a logistics service provider;
  • willingness to work in 2 shifts or staggered day shifts.

It all counts for this vacancy of troubleshooter in Venlo. Furthermore, it is of course important that you feel at home with us. That will certainly be possible if you like to keep going, have guts and want to grow with DSV.

You get

Working at DSV means working at one of the top players in the logistics market. DSV is entrepreneurial and competitive, which is why we always want to grow as an organization. That is why we are looking for people who want to grow with us. Besides a challenging job in an international environment we also offer:

  • a salary according to the DSV Solutions collective labor agreement;
  • a professional and informal working environment where your voice matters;
  • 24 vacation days, 4 ADV days, and 8% holiday pay;
  • an advantageous pension scheme, partly premium-free with a 5% personal contribution;
  • access to knowledge and training through our DSV Academy, so you can grow and influence your career path.
