You get it done
You have inventory management completely in focus. You process orders in our systems and ensure that your colleagues in the warehouse know which orders they can prepare for shipment. Of course, you already have the correct transport documents ready and have coordinated the further distribution of these orders down to the smallest detail with colleagues from our divisions Road or Air & Sea. All this to ensure the high customer satisfaction of our clients: you’re on it.
How you do this? Of course, you have a lot of contact with our customers, but also with your colleagues in the warehouse. This collaboration is very important, as you work closely together to ensure that orders are shipped correctly and within the agreed deadline. You make sure that order processing and the entire distribution process run smoothly. You achieve this by:
- processing incoming orders (via Cargowise and WMS), preparing the necessary transport documentation, inventory management, and handling files through invoicing;
- organizing road or sea transport for outgoing or incoming shipments, maintaining strong cooperation with internal divisions and external carriers;
- supporting your colleagues in the warehouse by providing instructions on incoming/outgoing shipments;
- customer oriented resolution of issues related to inventory discrepancies and damages.
Your team stands out within DSV by its friendly atmosphere. It is an active team of around 16 colleagues (8 office and 8 warehouse). Your workday? It starts between 07:00 AM and 09:30 AM. Of course, you coordinate with your colleagues to decide when you start, ensuring the team is fully staffed. After all, a good collaboration with a smile is the foundation of your team.

You bring
- we value motivation, a willingness to learn, and a strong work ethic more than formal education;
- at least some experience with logistics flows in a warehouse, distribution, and/or freight forwarding;
- a good command of both Dutch and English, as you will have frequent customer contact;
- some knowledge of Incoterms and customs documentation is a plus.
