You play a key role in the further growth and professionalization of our warehouse, directly contributing to the optimization and development of both processes and your team. This is your moment to make an impact and play a crucial role in shaping the future of the organization: you’re on it.

How do you do this? You are responsible for leading a team of currently three to four warehouse supervisors, with full accountability for the effective and efficient execution of our logistics processes. Your focus is on optimizing these processes to ensure we continuously meet the high standards of our customers.

You ensure that your team performs at its best by actively contributing to their development. You recognize the capabilities and strengths of your employees and make sure the right people are in the right positions. You motivate and inspire your team, enabling them to continuously improve both individually and collectively. Moreover, you don’t just focus on operational results, you also have a clear vision for the future and take responsibility for escalation and change management. You achieve this by:

• driving process improvements, digitalization, and automation to enhance efficiency and future-proof our warehouse;
• actively contributing to the development of your team’s capabilities and ensuring the optimal deployment of employees;
• continuously improving processes with a strong focus on quality;
• balancing functional needs and technical solutions while considering different stakeholder interests;
• identifying synergies across different operations and tailoring your communication accordingly.

Your team stands out within DSV through a strong focus on collaboration, development, and continuous improvement, your team plays a crucial role in our warehouse operations. You work with a diverse group of 100 colleagues, from warehouse supervisors to operational staff, in a dynamic environment where together, you set the bar higher every day.

You bring

• passion for the industry, your enthusiasm is contagious;
• leadership experience, preferably within transport or logistics;
• knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and experience leading major improvement and innovation projects;
• strong analytical skills to identify bottlenecks and define process improvements;
• proficiency in both Dutch and English.
