You get it done

Alongside your colleagues, you follow up on new leads and maintain relationships with existing customers. From the first call to the signed quote: you’re on it. 

How you do this? Within your sales territory, you focus on selling a variety of transport solutions, encountering all kinds of requests in different combinations. You follow up on every lead to qualify customer needs. Depending on the size of the request, you either handle it yourself or pass it on to our Sales Managers. Once you understand what the customer requires, you create a tailored proposal and follow up in time, because winning matters! You achieve this by:

• finding the best spot rates in the market and preparing quotations for our customers;
• generating leads from internal and external sources and acquiring new customers;
• implementing and guiding new customers, from setting up a simple login to fully onboarding larger clients;
• managing and maintaining your own customer portfolio;
• maintaining relationships with integrators, courier companies, and carriers;
• building strong connections across all divisions of DSV.

You bring

• a strong commercial drive, analytical mindset, and excellent communication skills;
• proficiency in both Dutch and English;
• experience in the logistics sector is a plus, but we’re happy to teach you the tricks of the trade;
• edvanced MS Office skills and preferably some experience working with a CRM system.
