DSV Canada's Go Green EV Project

In August 2023, DSV Canada announced another significant step towards achieving emission-free driving: the introduction of the first four 100% electric vans in Canada designated for so-called 'last-mile' deliveries. DSV is excited to be one of the first companies in Canada to take this step towards a greener future by delivering cargo sustainably.

The switch to electric vehicles will lead to a substantial reduction in greenhouse gas emissions, with savings of up to 300 tons of GHG emissions per year. This is equivalent to almost 65 cars on the road or a saving of about 35,000 liters of fuel per year. The new electric vehicles will also reduce noise pollution and have a positive impact on air quality, thereby further improving the local communities where DSV operates.
