The first rule of decarbonization? Know your CO2
DSV takes a bold, and first in the industry step, towards a more sustainable future by fostering transparency and environmental responsibility across its Road operations.
- Distance: is calculated by EcoTransIT based on information about pick-up, delivery, origin and destination addresses in DSV TMS
- Gross Weight: information comes directly from DSV Transport Management Systems (TMS)
- Emission Factor: The adjusted emission factor is applied by EcoTransIT with transport mode specific shipment data such as flight number & carrier information from DSV TMS
We look forward to rolling out CO2 on invoices across Europe during 2024
