DSV Air & Sea is seeking to hire a skilled and passionate Freight Forwarder, Exports at Port of Brisbane.
 

The position is responsible for liaising with customers & suppliers in an effective and timely manner whilst directing, compiling and completing the necessary documentation within the operations team. This position is required to ensure that all tasks are carried out in accordance with company and regulatory requirements. 

Your typical day at DSV:

• Work together with Export Air team to ensure quality and accuracy of work delivered
• Carry out export work flow processes in accordance with management directive, customer instructions, SOPs and specified requirements 
• Establish and maintain strong client relationships with DSV customers (internal and external), suppliers and service providers both locally and overseas
• Read, interpret and carry out instructions recorded on documents or within DSV’s systems
• Problem solve issues relating to information recorded on documents, calculations of costings and load size
• Plan and prioritize import shipments from the import workbench in order to achieve milestone requirements, designated KPIs and deadlines
• Problem solve operations issues with a range of stakeholders including but not to limited: airlines, shipping lines, transport providers, co-loaders and customers
   

About You:

• Experience in Freight Forwarding (air and or sea) or have completed relevant certificate qualifications
• Good communication, customer service and numeracy (monetary and weights) skills are required
• Ability to plan and coordinate to deliver desired outcomes within given timeframes is a must in this role
• Experience using CargowiseOne is preferred
