The DSV Young Professionals Programme runs from September 2024 for one and a half years.

Your journey with us
At DSV, we believe in cultivating talent, and as a participant in this programme, you will embark on a specialised path, gaining hands-on experience through 3 rotations across the departments of Data Science, Products & Software, and DevSecOps. Through this you will gain a deep understanding of our business, fostering skill development, knowledge enhancement, and the expansion of your professional network. 

During the Data Science rotation, you will get a practical understanding of modern principles for working with Machine Learning and AI. Additionally, you will learn how to operate these technologies in a secure, stable, and predictable manner through ML operations principles and platforms. In the Products & Software rotation, you will gain a deep and practical understanding of software development at enterprise level. This includes exploring software architecture, development principles, design, testing, and test engineering. Within the DevSecOps rotation, you will develop an understanding and practical ability in the foundational principles of DevSecOps. 

The rotations make up half of the programme and last 10 months in total. After the rotations, you will choose your specialty which you would like to explore further, and this will then be your main focus for the remaining 8 months of the programme. Regardless of your specialisation path, you will be trained in and work according to Agile practices.

What to expect
In all rotations, you will work on projects of global scale from our state-of-the-art office in Hedehusene, close to Copenhagen. You will follow a tailored development plan, acquire relevant certifications, and be mentored by our own industry experts. You will play a key role in your own development, as empowerment and ownership are at the core of our culture.

In addition, you automatically have access to a vast online learning library, and will participate in various training courses, and develop skills beyond your specialisation, during the programme. This is as we believe in continuous development for both personal and professional growth.

We expect you to be able to contribute from day one, but we have a heavy focus on your learning too. Thus, in the beginning, learning, and settling in will take priority for us to make sure you are off to a good start. 

Your profile
We are looking for people who:

• Are a recent or soon-to-be graduate (graduating in 2023 or before September 2024) with a relevant master’s degree in IT, Engineering, Software Development, or another related field.
• Have relevant work experience from e.g., internships or student jobs. If you have coding experience this will be a great plus.
• Are proactive, independent, and motivated to contribute to a global IT organisation.
• Demonstrate a passion for continuous growth and development.
• Are pragmatic team players with excellent communication skills in English.
• Possess pragmatic problem-solving skills.
