Avoid Durban port congestion

DSV in Maputo, South Africa, and the Maputo port operator have partnered to offer importers from India, Asia, and the Middle East an alternative route for all cargo destined to the greater Gauteng region.

This solution has been established to offer DSV customers an alternate to using the congested Port of Durban. The Maputo solution is expected to alleviate delays currently experienced, as well as provide faster port-to-port transit times.

Details of the solution for DSV customers include:

Load areas                   : Middle East, Indian sub-continent and Asia territories.

Equipment                    : 20ft and 40ft general purpose, high cube, Non-operational reefers and in-gauge special equipment:

          flat racks/open tops.

Final destination           : Greater Gauteng province

Commodities                : All commodities accepted
