As Specialist, IT Support you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to internal teams and external clients. This role involves diagnosing and resolving IT-related issues, configuring hardware and software systems, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and effective technical assistance to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, network connectivity problems, and system errors.
  • Analyze problems reported by users and identify root causes to implement appropriate solutions. Utilize diagnostic tools and methodologies to resolve complex issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software components such as desktops, laptops, servers, operating systems, and applications. Ensure all systems are properly set up and optimized for performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of support requests, resolutions, and system configurations. Create documentation and knowledge base articles to facilitate self-service troubleshooting for users.
  • Implement and enforce security protocols and best practices to safeguard IT infrastructure and data. Monitor systems for security breaches and take appropriate measures to mitigate risks.
  • Provide training and guidance to users on how to use IT systems effectively and securely. Conduct workshops and presentations to promote IT literacy and best practices.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams and departments to implement new technologies, upgrade systems, and enhance IT processes. Participate in cross-functional projects to achieve organizational objectives.

Educational Qualifications & Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience in IT support roles, with a strong understanding of computer systems and networks.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
