Channel Islands

At DSV we have been transporting between the UK and the Channel Islands, offering a wide range of warehousing and delivery services for over 30 years.

The Channel Islands are a small group of Islands located around 90 miles South of the UK and around 15 miles from the Northwest Coast of France. The Islands are of British crown dependency; meaning they do not form part of the UK and are not included in the EU, with having their own government and currency, transportation is managed equally as transporting outside the EU.

Operating a daily service to and from Jersey and Guernsey, DSV has contracted presence on both Islands to facilitate the last-mile delivery for all types of goods.

We ship full loads, small cargo and groupage, DSV utilizes our own vehicles between our strategically located depots in Southampton England, St Sampson, Guernsey and St Helier, Jersey. 

Due to the longevity of existence on the Islands, the operation is extensive and established with very competitive pricing and complete door-to-door traceability. 

When we talk of the Channel Islands, we automatically think of Jersey and Guernsey, DSV also offer regular services to and from Herm, Sark & Alderney.

We can move hazardous goods if required and offer flexible delivery solutions such as tail lift, HIAB or timed deliveries. We offer an established and reliable home delivery service. Once you hand your goods over to DSV we manage all of the necessary customs procedures to ensure any tight delivery deadline is met.
